Julie Vivaldo is a Los Angeles-based clarinetist, educator, and entrepreneur known for her dynamic performances and dedication to music education. She currently serves as Principal Clarinetist for the International Symphonina Orchestra (2025) and has performed on multiple award-winning albums with the ensemble.
Her recordings include "Introducing the Symphonina" (2023)—a Global Music Award (Silver Medal: Symphonic) winner, recipient of "Best Classical Album with a Cause" from the Clouzine International Music Awards, and a Billboard Top 10 Traditional Classical Album (#10).
She also contributed to "Advent of the Symphonina" (2024), which achieved the #1 spot on Billboard's Traditional Classical Albums chart, won Best Classical Subgenre at the Clouzine International Awards, and received the LIT Music Award (2024 Gold Winner, Best Classical Music).
Beyond the recording studio, Julie has performed at prestigious venues across Los Angeles, including Caltech, Pepperdine University, UCLA, and a recording project at the John Williams Music Building at Sony (2023).
In June 2025, she made her Walt Disney Concert Hall debut. She is also an active member of the Los Angeles Symphonic Winds and continues to record for various film soundtracks and music projects.
In addition to her performance career, Julie is the founder and CEO of Vivacity Music Co., an established LLC dedicated to empowering musicians through education, performance, and mentorship.
She is also the creator of "The Clarinet Mastery Movement," a high-level mastermind program where she helps clarinetists refine their technique, develop confidence, and achieve mastery in their playing.
